This posting is about two unfinished paintings that were "hanging around" unfinished. I decided to complete them in one sitting using the same palatte - forcing me to work faster and smarter.
The sailboat race was one I started last year at a "drink and dabble" at Kirkbrae Country Country. I tend to really push the color wheel, thus adding to the dynamism and movement of the race.
The depiction of the cottage over the water is the second one I've done = this one showing storm clouds. We stayed in this cottage at a place called "Nine Beaches" in Bermuda. We really did have access to nine beaches around the resort.
